This Privacy Policy explains how Tussna ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Tussna application ("the App") — an NCLEX flashcard preparation tool.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the App:

• Account & Profile Information: Your authentication identifier (provided via Apple Sign-In or email address), user-selected profile name, selected avatar icon, and account creation timestamps.
• Card Diagnostic Reports: If you choose to report a flashcard issue, we collect the specific cardId, the selected reason (e.g., typo, wrong answer), and a timestamp linked securely to your account identifier to prevent system spam.
• Security Integrity Data: Hardware and software attestation tokens collected automatically via Google Firebase App Check to mathematically verify that requests originate from an unmodified, authentic version of our App.
• Anonymous Usage Data: Feature interactions, app version, operating system, and session activity collected in aggregate.

We do not collect any photos, biometric data, payment information, or sensitive personal health records.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your user profile account.
• Review and resolve submitted flashcard corrections (cardId reports).
• Protect our infrastructure and intellectual property from fraudulent access or automated data scraping using App Check.
• Improve app stability, performance, and features in aggregate.

Push Notifications

We may send you push notifications regarding daily study reminders, streak milestones, or important content updates.

• Consent: These notifications are strictly opt-in. The App will never send push notifications unless you explicitly grant permission through the iOS system prompt.
• Control: You can change your notification preferences or disable notifications completely at any time by navigating to your device's Settings > Notifications > Tussna.
• Data Use: We do not track your location or use notifications for advertising or promotional third-party campaigns.

Study Data

All core flashcard progress, weak card history, study streaks, and mock exam results are processed and stored locally on your device via secure disk storage. This personal study data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Subscription & Payments

All purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Subscription status is verified locally through Apple's StoreKit framework to unlock premium features (such as Weak Card Review and Quick Exam features).

Third-Party Services

We use the following infrastructure partners to deliver core application services:

• Firebase (Google): Used for secure user profile authentication, storing card reporting tokens, and executing app check security attestation hooks.
• Apple App Store: Used for subscription status tracking and processing in-app purchases safely.

No personal data is shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes. Each infrastructure service is governed by its own respective safety policies.

Data Storage and Security

Account authentication data and user reports are securely stored and managed by Google Firebase using industry-standard physical and electronic encryption safety frameworks. Submissions inside our report records are write-only structures that are hidden from public read vectors.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your profile data only while your account remains active. You may request permanent account deletion at any time via the Delete Account option found inside the App's Settings menu.

Upon execution of account deletion:

• Your authenticated profile and identity records are permanently deleted from our live cloud databases.
• No personal user data is retained on our cloud servers.

International Users

Authentication and application data managed by Firebase may be securely hosted and processed outside your native country, including on servers located inside the United States. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer infrastructure.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for professional nursing candidates and users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 17. If we discover such data has been collected inadvertently, it will be wiped from our systems immediately.

Depending on your physical location, you may have the statutory right to:

• Access your stored profile data records.
• Request immediate correction or complete deletion of data.
